With roof garden green spaces increasingly becoming an integral part of high-rise design and architecture, green spaces in the sky call for very specific lightweight soils. With this in mind, we have worked with the UK’s leading Soil Science Consultancy (Tim O’Hare Associates) to create an evolving range of high quality Lightweight Intensive Roof Garden Soils and Subsoils, which far exceed the requirements of the British Standard.

A RANGE OF LIGHTWEIGHT SOILS WHICH ARE ESSENTIAL FOR REDUCING BULK DENSITY & POINT LOADINGS

Suitable for roof gardens, balconies and newly constructed green roof spaces or indeed anywhere where bulk density and point loadings need to be significantly reduced. All our lightweight soils are blended using genuine 4-10mm LECA and selected specialist soils, which when combined, create lightweight roofing soils and subsoils that are of exceptional quality and very similar in nutrient value and performance to that of a natural soil.
