Packed with nutrients and minerals to aid strong and healthy root growth, our 60/40 sand/soil Rootzone is a free draining product making it an ideal material for both sports and fine lawn applications. This product is screened to just 5mm and is virtually stone free making it ideal for dressing and re-seeding existing lawns, play surfaces and for creating new lawns where a premium finish is required.
Our 60/40 Rootzone is a blend of selected washed Silica Sands and BS3882:2015 topsoil, with a small amount of Organic PAS100 Compost added (the British Standard for composts) to boost organics. Whilst free flowing, this product is not kiln dried, therefore it may not be suitable for some domestic spreaders, but can successfully be spread by hand when required.
